Overview

Belgium is small, complex, and often overlooked. Caught between Europe’s biggest powers, divided by language and identity, and repeatedly invaded, it somehow survived. On this walking tour, we explore how.

We begin at the breathtaking Grand Place, where wealth, ambition, and resilience shaped the city’s heart. From there, we step into the elegant Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, a symbol of 19th-century confidence and culture. We visit the city’s most unexpected icon at Manneken Pis and pass by the Royal Palace of Brussels, where Belgium’s unusual monarchy took form. Our journey ends near the European Parliament, where Brussels transformed from Europe’s battlefield into its political center.

This tour isn’t about memorizing dates. It’s about understanding the personality of a city that doesn’t try to impress, yet quietly holds immense influence. Expect stories, perspective, and a Brussels you didn’t expect.
