Overview
I provide this tour in English or in Dutch (NEDERLANDS). During our walk through the Grand Place, you'll discover how Brussels came to be and how the city relates to Europe and the world, as well as how the magnificent 17th-century guild houses were created. We'll take a close look at a few of them and hunt for fine details. Along the way, we'll meet a few notorious residents from the past.
We’ll step briefly away from the Grand Place and stroll to the nearby Saint-Hubert Galleries, where the civic spirit of Brussels comes alive. Then we head back to the Grand Place and pause at the dying hero ’t Serclaes and the countless visitors who touch his bronze sculpture. Finally, we end at the feet of Manneken Pis and put our experiences into perspective with a wink.
