One Day Trip to Alamedin Gorge from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Overview of the tour in Bishkek

Hiking in Alamedin gorge. This gorge is situated near Bishkek, the road there will take 1 hour from the city. We start our walking from the car parking, from there it is 5 km to the waterfall. The hike isn’t very difficult, it may take us from 2 to 3 hours to reach that point.

The height difference is 350 m. The waterfall’s height is 10 m, the width is 2 m.

We take a break to be able to admire this cascade, then we get down to a meadow to eat and continue our way back to the car parking.
We get to our car and return to Bishkek.

On arrival

You can get to this place by using local transportation (bus or marshrutka), or by using local taxi services (like Yandex or BiTaxi). Ask a driver to get you to Philarmonic, in front of this building you will see the monument, this will be the meeting point.

Things to note

It is recommended to have good mountain shoes, an additional pair of socks, a waterproof jacket or a raincoat to not catch a cold in case the weather changes. And also consider having some warm clothes.
