The tour begins at Ala-Too Square, the symbolic center of Kyrgyzstan, where you will see the famous Manas Statue and the impressive national flag. From there we will walk through beautiful tree-lined boulevards and discover some of Bishkek’s most interesting landmarks.
Along the way you will explore Soviet-era architecture, colorful street art, and unique mosaics that reflect the city’s history. We will also visit important monuments dedicated to historical figures such as Lenin, Kurmanjan Datka, and the heroes of Panfilov Park.
Your guide will share fascinating stories about Kyrgyz nomadic culture, Soviet history, and modern life in Bishkek. You will also learn a few simple Kyrgyz phrases and receive useful tips about local food, restaurants, transportation, and places to visit during your stay in Kyrgyzstan.

On arrival
The guide will be waiting at Ala-Too Square next to the large national flag, directly in front of the Honor Guard.
Ala-Too Square is the main square in Bishkek and very easy to find. If you have any difficulties locating the meeting point, please arrive a few minutes early and look for the big Kyrgyz national flag in the center of the square.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the tour.
