Overview

Join me for a fun, relaxed walk through Birmingham's city centre where history, culture, and local life come together! I'm a friendly local guide who loves bringing Birmingham's stories to life — from its industrial roots to the creative energy that shapes it today.

This isn't a lecture or history class — it's a light, engaging journey full of conversation, local tips, and stories you won’t find on plaques or brochures.

Whether you're a traveller passing through, a new arrival, or simply curious to explore, you'll feel right at home as we walk, chat, and discover Birmingham together.

We’ll start in Cathedral Square with the beautiful St Philip’s Cathedral before exploring:

Victoria Square - the heart of the city with stunning architecture and fascinating stories.
Centenary Square - where old meets new beside landmarks like the Library of Birmingham.
Black Sabbath Bridge - a must-see for music lovers.
Gas Street Basin - part of Birmingham’s famous canal network.
Ozzy the Mechanical Bull - our final stop.

Along the way, I’ll also share insider tips on where to eat, drink, and explore after the tour.

Things to note

Expect a relaxed and engaging walking tour with stories, history, local insights, and opportunities to meet fellow travellers. Comfortable shoes recommended. And if you arrive early I would recommend checking out the stained glass windows inside the Cathedral :)
