You’ll learn about the role of paramilitaries, the impact of the conflict on daily life, and the slow road to peace through the Good Friday Agreement.

Our Guides
On arrival
The tour starts at the main gates of Belfast City Hall, facing Donegall Square North.
Look for a blue umbrella and a guide wearing our official uniform; we’ll be right by the entrance railings.
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early so we can begin on time.
Things to note
The tour involves approximately. 3 km of walking; wear comfortable shoes.
Belfast weather can change quickly, so bring a raincoat or umbrella.
There are no scheduled bathroom or food stops.
The tour covers sensitive topics such as violence, death, and politics.
Not recommended for children under 12.
Please let us know in advance if you have accessibility needs.
Photography is welcome, but be respectful in residential areas.
The tour ends in the Lower Shankill area; your guide will help you return to the city centre.
