I invite you to discover one of Galicia's most beautiful coastal towns on a friendly 2-hour guided tour.
Together, we'll explore the historic center, its cobbled streets, lively squares and magnificent waterfront. We'll talk about the fascinating history of Baiona, famous for being the first port in Europe to announce the discovery of America with the arrival of the caravel La Pinta in 1493.
Along the way, we'll discover the ancient ramparts, the fishing port, Galician maritime traditions and the local legends that have shaped the town's identity.
I'll also share anecdotes about local life, the pilgrims who passed through Baiona on the Portuguese route to Santiago de Compostela, and the town's close links with the Atlantic Ocean.
The tour ends facing the bay, with superb views of the Cíes Islands and the Galician coast.

On arrival
Meet me in front of the Baiona Tourist Office, next to the main entrance to the Monterreal fortress.
It's a very easy place to find, at the entrance to the old town and right next to the fortress. I'll be there a few minutes before the tour begins.
