Overview
Immerse yourself in the history of Baeza; here you will learn about its heritage, past, and present. We will visit the Paseo de la Constitución, the Plaza de los Leones with the Carnicería and the Audiencias, the enigmatic Imilce fountain, and the famous Plaza de Santa María. We will visit the interior of the Cathedral of the Nativity of Our Lady, the oldest cult cathedral in Andalusia. We will travel through time through the alleys surrounding the Cathedral, which have served as a set for countless film productions, and we will look out on the balcony of the Guadalquivir, with impressive views of the valley and olive trees.
After visiting the Church of Santa Cruz, the best example of Romanesque architecture in Andalusia, and falling in love with the Elizabethan Gothic façade of the Palacio de Jabalquinto, we will end the visit at the Old University of Baeza. We will learn about its history and visit the classroom where its most famous teacher, Don Antonio Machado, taught at the beginning of the 20th century. In the end, we will accompany you to an EVOO tasting.

Things to note
The Old University is closed on Tuesdays (except on bridges and holidays). These days, the tour is completed by visiting the ruins of the San Francisco Convent and the Baeza Town Hall (Old Corregidor Prison).
