Overview
Starting in the old fish market, we will walk in Beira-Mar's quarter, where the fishermen used to live, discovering the typical houses, the S.Goncalinho Chapel, and some of the most iconic bridges of the City, Carcavelos' bridge, the oldest over the canals, and Botirões' bridge, the newest and a circular bridge.
In a 5 minutes Walking distance from the City center, and close to the main locks of the urban canals, we will find the salt fields, and in the morning, the people working there. You will see big salt pyramids and understand how it's made, visiting Troncalhada Salt Flat, a kind of living museum, which is from the City Hall.
We will hike in Salt Street, with the salt fields on one side, and the main canals of Ria de Aveiro on the other, until the sailing clubs of the City, where normally we can find one of the newest attractions of the City, Flamingos.

The Fish Market is in the City center, and there are no big parking areas. You can park for free in the Canal de S. Roque parking area.
Things to note
In the Salt Flats, there is no shadow, so I recommend a hat for Sun protection, Sun cream for the skin, and Ester.
