We will meet in front of the Club de Vela restaurant to begin our free tour of Costa Nova, one of the most charming and picturesque beaches in the Aveiro region.
Our journey starts with a stroll through this special coastal corner, beloved by locals for windsurfing, kitesurfing, and other water sports, thanks to its perfect waves. Along the way, we’ll admire the famous striped houses, an iconic postcard – a must for photos and memories that last a lifetime.
We’ll visit the Costa Nova Nautical Club, another of the area’s most photographed spots, offering the perfect backdrop for your Instagram shots. Along the walk, I’ll share stories about José Estêvão, praised by the great Portuguese writer Eça de Queirós, and explain his connection to the region.
No tour is complete without exploring the traditional fish market and enjoying some of Costa Nova’s.
The tour concludes after an hour and a half with a relaxing walk along the golden sands of Costa Nova, soaking in the sea breeze and the beauty of one of Portugal’s finest beaches. This is more than a tour; it’s a full sensory experience of culture, history, nature, and local charm.
