We start our tour at the Rathausplatz, the heart of Augsburg. Admire the impressive Augsburg Town Hall, a Renaissance masterpiece designed by Elias Holl, with its famous "Goldener Saal". Nearby, you'll spot the Perlach Tower, a former watchtower offering panoramic views of the city.
From here, we walk to the Fugger Square to explore the history of Europe's most powerful merchant families. We continue on to "little Venice", a picturesque district with charming canals reminiscent of Venice. Your next stop is the Brecht Haus, the birthplace of playwright Bertolt Brecht, which now serves as a museum honoring his life and works.
Next, head to the Leopold Mozart Haus, where Leopold Mozart, father of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, was born. It’s now a museum showcasing the musical history of the Mozart family.
