Waterfall Hiking Tour

Overview of the tour in Arusha

The tour starts in front of the Mount Meru Hotel. We will walk through the local street, followed by different trees. Before we reach the waterfall the path really plunges down. Depending on the season you then have to walk or jump on stones in the water. If you wish you can refresh yourself in the waterfall, but don't forget to bring a towel and bathing clothes. We recommend you to wear hiking boots for the tour. If you don’t want to walk that much, we can also take a Taxi at additional cost, so you only have to pass the last steep part.

On arrival

You can take a daladala in the direction of the USA or Maji ya Chai or Tengeru and tell the driver to stop at Mount Meru. Or you take a boda boda and tell the driver Mount Meru Hotel, they all know it. We will meet directly next to the street so you don't need to enter the gate of the hotel.

Things to note

If you wish we can also start the tour at your place.
For the extra cost, it is also possible to take a taxi and walk less, but it is not possible to not walk at all, as the last part is only accessible via walking.
Depending on the weather we can also start at 9.
