Free Tour Alcalá de Henares: World Heritage Site
Overview
-Our tour begins in the Palace Square, where we evoke the meeting between Christopher Columbus and the Catholic Monarchs
-From there, we will walk towards the Magistral Cathedral of Alcalá de Henares.
-We will continue to the Cervantes House and the Calle Mayor to explore the Cervantes universe.
-We will continue to the Plaza de Cervantes with a look at the artistic and monumental heritage of the city.
-We close the tour at the University of Alcalá where we will admire the facade of the University, cradle of humanism and model exported to America.

Address: It is next to the Archbishop's Palace, in the historic center of Alcalá de Henares.
On foot (from key points in the center):
From Calle Mayor, just walk east along Calle de Santiago or Calle Imagen. It is only a few minutes away.
From the University of Alcalá, take Calle Libreros and turn towards Plaza de Palacio, passing through Calle de Santa Úrsula.
By train:
Arrive by Cercanías Renfe at Alcalá de Henares station (lines C-2 and C-7).
From the station, walk about 10-15 minutes following Vía Complutense to the historic center. You can follow the signs to "Palacio Arzobispal" or "Catedral-Magistral".
By car:
Parking: There are public parking areas nearby, such as Parking San Lucas or Parking El Mercado.
