Semien Mountains & Danakil Depression - 8 Days Nature expedition

The tour begins with a morning flight to Gonder, a medieval city with the only Camelot of Africa, the nearest city to begin the most amazing trekking experience of the Semien mountains with 2 nights camping in Sankaber at 3250m above sea level and camping in Chenek campsite at 3620m above MSL.

This trekking experience will be accompanied by local road leaders, park rangers, local community horse riders, and a natural scene that will take your breath away where you have ample time to enjoy nature in the best possible way. You will have the chance to live each moment as you trek breathing directly from the soul of the planet with views you can never see anywhere else; along the way, you will have the chance to come across unique botanical and endemic wildlife exposure alongside enormous bird lives.

After finalizing this amazing trekking experience, you will be transferred back to Gonder for a flight back to Addis and then another flight to Semera city of the Afar region from where the Danakil Depression Extreme nature expedition begins.
