Overview
Hi I’m Lamesgn!
Addis Ababa isn’t just where I live it’s where I belong. I love sharing this vibrant city with new friends. Skip the tour buses and come walk with me through streets full of life, history, and unexpected moments. We will laugh, chat, discover hidden spots, and of course grab some incredible Ethiopian coffee. This isn’t a tour. It’s a day out with a local who loves his city.
We will meet at the airport or your hotel and head to the National Museum of Ethiopia. We'll kick off our journey at the famous National Museum, where you'll get to delve into an amazing collection showcasing our human ancestors. You'll be able to admire ancient hominid fossils, including Lucy, who lived 3.2 million years ago, and Selam, a 3.3 million-year-old fossil.
There, we’ll enjoy a strong Ethiopian brew and talk about the traditional coffee ceremony that brings people together across the country.
Wrap up your tour with a guided walk through Mercato, one of Africa’s largest open-air markets. This lively, sprawling marketplace is a world of its own filled with colors, sounds, and the hustle of everyday life. Explore sections dedicated to spices, textiles, recycled goods, and street food.
