Overview of the tour in Valparaiso

"Our meeting point is at Plaza Aníbal Pinto, right in front of the fountain of the God Neptune. From this charming starting point, we will begin our journey through the old limits of the city. We will ascend the prison hill and explore places that only our guides know, taking us to an altitude of 290 meters above sea level, where we will enjoy one of the most impressive views of the city.

After this panoramic experience, we will descend to visit the house museum "La Sebastiana", which was the former residence of our second Nobel Prize winner, Pablo Neruda. We will continue our tour exploring the place where the first mural intervention took place, also known as the Cielo Abierto Museum.

Finally, we will conclude our tour in one of the city's hidden art galleries, where you can admire works by talented local artists. Get ready for a day full of history, art and spectacular views in Valparaíso!"

On arrival

We will meet at the Plaza Anibal Pinto de Valparaíso, in front of the fountain of the god Neptune.

To leave Viña del Mar you can take any locomotion that says "Valparaiso or the Port". You have to get off at the Bellavista station (subway, minibus, or bus) and walk 2 blocks to the Cerro Concepcion.

We will be located in the center of the square right next to the pond of the god Neptune, wearing a white t-shirt and umbrella with red letters that say CERRO47 WALKING TOURS.
We are the true local guides of Valparaiso.

Who should not take this tour? If your thing is not to meet new people or look at art that could be considered offensive or controversial, you are in the wrong place.

Our tour will be through a quieter and smaller area of the city, so we have time for everyone to interact and get to know each other.

If you are a more traditional tourist, who enjoys looking at landscapes with clean-white-bright houses, you probably will not like Valparaíso where it seems that the houses are dotted with a mixture of colors and art.
