Overview of the tour in Tangier

On this walking tour, we will soak in the history, architecture, and culture that is unique to Tangier. You will leave with an understanding of Moroccan culture and ways of life.

I grew up in Medina so I know all the hidden gems and I love to see people explore the narrow alleyways of the Medina.

We will begin the tour in front of cineamarif in the Grand socco.
We will see:
Grand socco
St. Andrews church
Mendoubia gardens
Berber market fruit, vegetables, fish
Kasbah is a great Lookout point to see the strait of Gibraltar
An artesian market where there is pottery, rugs, and made items. Sometimes you can walk the streets and see locals working on their art
We will have time to shop these local artesian markets and spice markets
Petite socco
Community oven where locals bring their bread, cakes, and fish to be baked

You will learn about the history and culture of Morocco and much more!

We will meet in front of cineamarif. I will be holding a sign that says Hamid

We can start at any time you prefer just let me know when you'd like your tour. Please bring good walking shoes. There are steps in the medina and narrow alleyways
