During this cruise, you will discover the two harbours surrounding the capital city of Valletta, the cities along its shores, and many of the locations inaccesibles in any other way while enjoying a rest in this guided tour in English.
Starting from Sliema, located in the harbour of Marsamxett, in old times just a secondary harbour, today Malta´s economic heart, you will appreciate the forts of Manoel and Tignè, the Lazaretto, the Black Pearl, stunning views of the bastions of Valletta and Floriana, the well known silhouettes of the Carmelitan church and the Anglican procathedral...
Sailing along the UNESCO city of Valletta, entering the Great Harbour, the biggest and main harbour of Malta, where we will understand the term "fortified island": 3 forts, 4 fortified cities spectacular views all around still today, even though this area suffered the Great Siege of Malta in 1565 by the Ottoman empire and was heavily bombarded during the IIWW.
We end the cruise at the departing point, Sliema, where you can easily take a bus, go shopping, or have a coffee in any of the multiple restaurants in the area.

Things to note
We recommend to be at least 15 minutes before the departure in order to be sure you find the boat. It is not difficult, but there are many boats and for common cortesy the boat gives a window of maximum 5 minutes waiting time.
Do not worry to be too early: the area is full of cafeterias, restaurants, shops where to enjoy yourself in case you have to wait.
