Overview of the tour in San Sebastian

In Go Local we have offered the Free Walking Tour in San Sebastian since 2014. This tour is a great way to discover the city and learn a bit about its history and culture.

Our walking tour goes through the main places in the Old Town and the Centre of San Sebastian. Discover the history, the buildings, our traditions and festivities, local’s day to day life, the gastronomy and the city's culture.

We were the first ones to offer this on foot service in San Sebastian. We are a local business that supports a sustainable tourism, with local guides that transmit their passion for the city. Do not hesitate asking us about places to eat, where to shop or just what to visit, in Donostia we have a little bit for everyone.

We are the only local company that offers the Free Walking Tour in town with the Tripadvisor Excellence Award in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019!

*In order to offer a better attention to the visitors and a quality service, we like making small groups of 20 people. That is why we do not accept bookings for groups bigger than 6 people. If you are a party of more than 6, please contact us.

On arrival

Our meeting point is at Plaza Sarriegi 9, just beside La Bretxa Market. You will recognise us by our blue and white umbrella.

If you come by car there are a couple of private car parks not very far away from us. One is called La Bretxa and the other is Oquendo. A bit further you can find the car parks of the Kursaal and La Concha.

If you come by bus, most of the city buses stop at the Boulevard, just a couple of minutes away from our meeting point.

If you come from the train or bus station, there is a 15-20 minute walk to our meeting point just following the river.

Things to note

Make sure you arrive in time and if it is not possible, please contact us or cancel the tour, as we work with limited places and another visitor could use yours.
If everybody that booked is in time, we try to start punctual.
If you come by car make sure you come with time to park (this may be quite difficult in the Centre, unless you park in a private car park).

Free Cancellation

You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
