Overview
You are cordially invited to an atmospheric evening stroll by the light of gas lanterns through the often hidden, quiet corners of the old town. We visit narrow, medieval alleyways, passages, squares and Gothic manor houses that form the historic urban fabric of the old town. The idea of the walk is to spread the magic of the Old Town, its medieval atmosphere and take a close look at many interesting buildings of Prague's oldest city. I will introduce you to the history of the Old Town, you will hear some stories and legends from the Old Town. We will start at Bedrich Smetana's monument.
On the route we will see the Divadlo Na Zabradli, St. Anne's Church, St. Aegidius Church, Bethlehem Chapel, the buildings of St. Bartholomew's Church, Coal Square, St. Martin in the Wall Church, rows of Gothic-Renaissance houses, St. Michael's Church. We end our walk on the Old Town Square in front of the famous medieval town hall clock Orloj.
