Important Notice: Night Free Tour Meeting Point Change

Due to the Carnaval parade on February 20, 24, 27, and March 2, the meeting point for the night-free tour is relocated to La Petite Maison, Rue Saint-François de Paule, Nice, France. Place Massena is closed on these dates. I appreciate your understanding.

Our tour will take you through the modern history of Nice, from when it became French almost 160 years ago. We will explore not only why Nice became French but also why it became such an important cultural melting pot with a great history as a travel destination.

Many artists, including Mattise, Chagall, and Picasso, lived in Nice while working on some of their most famous art pieces. This creative atmosphere has stayed in Nice throughout the years, and during our tour, we will focus on more modern art from artists like Ben or Jaume Plensa.

The tour has one extra thing going for it! All the lights! During the tour, you will see Nice in many colors, from the ever-changing “Conversation a Nice” to a beautiful sunset on the Promenade des Anglais.
