Overview of the tour in Morelia

We will start at the Cathedral of Morelia, baroque jewel, where we will find the silver baptismal font and its monumental organ of 4600 flutes, continue to the Matamoros theater crossing the beautiful Plaza de Armas, we will access the terrace to have one of the best views of the cathedral, continue to Clavijero Palace visiting the museum, and then arrive at the market of traditional sweets and handicrafts of Morelia where you can taste these sweets and shop for souvenirs and local handicrafts.

We will continue to the San Nicolas de Hidalgo school, historic building where Jose Maria Morelos, one of the heroes of the independence of Mexico, studied and also where Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, father of the nation, taught. We will continue our tour to the west of the city along Madero Avenue, the main road that crosses the center of the city full of stores, restaurants, churches and historic buildings that earned it the designation of World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1991.

We will arrive at the fountain of the Tarascas and finish the tour at the beautiful Guadalupan sanctuary of San Diego.
