Overview

did you know that Milan was the capital of the Roman Empire for more than a century, that Fascism was founded in this city, and that a few decades ago Milan had miles of navigable canals connecting it to all of Europe?

get ready to discover this and much more in an exciting narrative journey full of history, art, mystery and emotion, visiting the lesser known but no less spectacular places of a millenary city that is still waiting to be discovered!

ITINERARY:
Our tour concentrates on the southern historic center: from the historic center passing through the ancient heart of the Roman city and the primordial places of fascism, passing through the Italian stock exchange and the spectacular basilica of Sant'Ambrogio, to the alternative neighborhood of the columns of San Lorenzo ending at the wonderful navigable canals (Navigli), heart of Milanese nightlife.

-On this tour we will NOT SEE the Duomo (cathedral), nor any of the most classical monuments of the city, for that sign up for our tour: "Classical and monumental Milan"
-The tour ends in the area of the canals, 5 minutes from the metro station PORTA GENOVA (GREEN LINE)
