Reach by yourself the rooftop by elevator for a breathtaking view of the city.
From the Terrazza, you’ll see, on clear days, the snow-capped peaks of the Alps and also the famous Madonnina, the gold-colored statue of Mary that stands on the cathedral’s highest spire.
After or before the tour, you can also visit the Duomo Museum by your own.

Things to note
Please note that the guided interior tour of the Duomo lasts approximately one hour.
You will also visit the rooftop area independently, using the lift, either before or after your tour, in accordance with the tour schedule.
Please dress appropriately for your visit; shorts and sleeveless tops are not permitted, and knees and shoulders must be covered for all visitors. Non-compliance may result in denied entry.
Expect airport-style security checks upon entry.
The staircase to the highest terrace is narrow, so please proceed with caution.
Entry with helmets, glass items, sharp objects, or large bags and backpacks is prohibited throughout the Historical Complex.
