Overview of the tour in London

Explore the dark history of London – including the story of Jack The Ripper - on this tour of London's Crime, Punishment and Execution!

As the lights go down and darkness falls, this walking tour will introduce you to the story of Jack The Ripper and the truth of his infamous murders as you visit his most famous site. At the Tower of London you'll recall the notorious King Henry VIII and his six wives and discover why Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard both lost their lives inside the Tower.

You'll hear how Guy Fawkes tried to blow up Parliament in the 'Gunpowder Plot', the devastation of the Black Death, and the horrific crimes of London's famous gangsters - the Kray Twins.

With stories of many historical figures including William Wallace (Braveheart) and Bloody Mary also included, this walking tour gives you the chance to really explore London’s dark history and its mysterious past.

Tower Hill Station (Exit next to the large Sundial)

On arrival

The tour starts at the Exit of Tower Hill Station next to the large Sundial. Please exit Tower Hill station and turn left and the Sundial is located at the top of the steps.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the tour begins to check-in with your guide.

On arrival please meet your tour guide holding the yellow umbrella.

If traveling by London Underground then Tower Hill Station is located on the Circle and District lines.

Things to note

This tour covers approximately 2-3 miles of walking. Due to uneven surfaces and unavoidable stairs, this tour is not suitable for those with wheelchairs, walking difficulties or large prams/buggys.

IMPORTANT - It will not be possible to accept a group of 8 or more people (including children). Please do not try and book a group of 8 or more people across multiple bookings or using multiple names as these will be cancelled or turned away.
