Deptford Discovery, The South of London

Overview of the tour in London
Throughout the centuries Deptford housed among Britain's most famous architects, poets, botanists... and witnessed both great naval expeditions and social revolutions which marked the world indelibly. Although mainly a fishing village throughout the Middle Ages, it expanded considerably when Henry the VIII established here the very first British Fleet, transforming it in one of the most important docks in the UK! Nowadays, the colourful markets of its High Street, its disguised grade-listed buildings and renowned baroque churches are only some of the wonders that Deptford preserves and through which you'll be able to experience the thrilling vibe of the South besides deepening your knowledge on London's wider history.
