Free Lisbon Night Tour
Overview
The tour starts next to the Monumento ao Calceteiro, in Praça dos Restauradores, and continues to the Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, from where you can enjoy unique night views. The route continues through the elegant neighborhood of Chiado, passing by the Bertrand Bookstore, the Armazéns do Chiado and the evocative ruins of the Convento do Carmo, which at night take on a particularly mysterious air. From here we will enjoy the spectacular views of the Elevador de Santa Justa.
During the tour we also visit the lively Praça do Rossio, with the Dona Maria II National Theater, and the popular Rua Augusta. The tour continues to the Lisbon Cathedral and the imposing Arco da Rua Augusta, ending at Praça do Comércio and Cais das Colunas, next to the Tagus River. An ideal experience to enjoy Lisbon illuminated and full of charm.

On arrival
Meeting point: Next to the Calceteiro Monument, in front of the Avenida Palace Hotel (Metro Restauradores - Blue Line). Look for a blue-green flag with the name Paseando por Europa.
End point: Cais das Colunas.
Things to note
- Our guides will be identified with a blue-green flag or umbrella with the name Walking in Europe.
- Please arrive 15 minutes in advance as the tour will depart on time.
- Show the guide, at the meeting point, and the booking confirmation email, either printed or by cell phone or tablet.
- If you will not be attending the tour, cancel your reservation so that someone else can take your place. Remember that there is no charge or surcharge.
- For groups of more than 6 adults, the price will be 8 euros per person, to be paid to the guide at the meeting point.
How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
Free Cancellation
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
