Overview of the tour in Lima

We start the tour in Plaza San Martin, where we will explain its foundation and why it is so important to know it before arriving at the Plaza Mayor of Lima, accompanied by the Zela and Pomacagua portals, large historical buildings, as well as El Teatro Colon and El Gran Hotel Bolivar.

Arriving at the Plaza de Armas of Lima, we will discover this iconic place where the city of Lima was born under European standards, surrounded by several buildings of great importance, such as the Cathedral and the Casa del Oidor. Optionally, due to political instability, we can also observe the famous Changing of the Guard in Lima, which will take place in front of the Presidential Palace.

Then, we will visit the Santo Domingo Church, where the first Afro-saint, called San Martin de Porres, lived, and then we will arrive at the House of Literature, an old railway station built to connect Lima with the Andes.

We will visit the Colonial Wall of Lima that protected the city for about 300 years, and to end the tour, we will do a tasting of Peruvian Pisco and Macerados.
