Overview
welcome to one of the most beautiful cities in Mexico! Join me to get to know Guadalajara on a tour where we will talk about the stories, architecture and legends that have marked the course of this city, from its foundation to the present day. Guadalajara is a unique city and very famous for being the birthplace of Mexican symbols such as mariachi and tequila.
We will begin our tour at the oldest and most iconic building of our city: the Cathedral, we will learn about its legends and its peculiar architecture. We will continue to the Plaza de la Rotonda to meet some of the most important people of our city. Then we will see the museum of the Government Palace that was once a fortress and today has impressive mural paintings by Jose Clemente Orozco, then we will continue our tour to appreciate the beautiful architecture of the Degollado Theater.
We will learn about the place where our city was founded and some curious facts about its foundation almost 500 years ago! We will walk through the alleys that keep ancient legends and we will finish our tour in a beautiful museum that is also a World Heritage Site: the Hospicio Cabañas.
