Overview of the tour in Ella

Warakara waterfall is located near the border of Ella Jungle resort. To reach it you’ll have a wonderful twenty-minute trek through the jungle.

At the top of the waterfall (shown) is the most exotic natural pool. It’s irresistible. So have a swim and kickback. Yes, it’s a tad cool but so refreshing after your jungle trek.

It’s a good idea to begin your trek between 7 am and 8 am – because it is a super bird watching at that time.

You are almost guaranteed to see new bird/animal species you’ve never seen before (unless you live in Sri Lanka). So if you have binoculars or a good camera with zoom be sure to bring them along with you.
