Overview of the tour in Delhi

Inaugurated on November 6, 2005, this magnificent complex was constructed by the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS). Inspired by HH Yogiji Maharaj (1892-1971 CE) and brought to life by His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj, it stands as a testament to the dedication of over 8,000 volunteers from around the globe who contributed more than 300,000,000 hours to its creation.

The Mandir itself is a masterpiece crafted from intricately carved sandstone and marble, showcasing the rich heritage of Hinduism. Inside, exhibitions unfold the life and teachings of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, emphasizing themes of prayer, compassion, and non-violence.

The surrounding grounds offer open gardens, tranquil water features, and a step-well styled courtyard, creating a serene environment for reflection and exploration.

The meeting point will be at United Coffee House Connaught Place Block E.
