Overview of the tour in Burgos

Come with me and discover Burgos, my hometown and my passion; a city full of parks, monuments, and wonderful people. In total, there is more than 50 km of bike lanes for riding around the city at the same moment that you can enjoy its vibrant life. There are too many landmarks to visit for only one journey. This is so that this experience pretends to maximize the time for learning the region's culture as the experience is complemented with some activities like regional food tasting and explanations of historical sites. Welcome to Burgos!

The tour starts in front of the facade of 'Cardenal Lopez de Mendoza' high school, from where we will ride until River Vena (next to the 'Evolution' site). After that, we will cross the historic center and its famous landmark, Santa Maria's cathedral. Then we will go down the river 'Arlanzón' until the university and what it is known as 'Hospital del Rey'. After that, we will make a break in front of 'Las Huelgas' to taste some food. Finally, we will come back to the initial point going along the river and seeing the best of the Castilian architecture.

On arrival

The meeting point is located in front of the principal facade of the Cardenal López de Mendoza high school, at the end of a cypress park. This point is very close to the place where we are going to take the bikes. For any doubt related to the meeting point do not hesitate in contacting me by message or mobile phone.

As a request, I only ask for people to know how to ride a bike ;)

Things to note

The bike lines are perfectly signed with a red color. It is also going over pedestrian sidewalks being this way independent of the roads. This means that it is much more comfortable and safer to use.
