Overview
On a journey through the centuries, we will visit:
- Ruins of Monastery of St. Nicholas

- Main Square with the remains of the Cathedral of St. George

- The Archaeological Museum is located in the Bishop’s Palace.

On arrival
The town can be reached by the city bus, which runs every half hour (during the summer, it may be less frequent), or by taxi.
If you are coming by bus, Old Bar is the last stop. Once you get off the bus, cross the parking place and continue straight along the narrow street lined with souvenir shops and restaurants. Halfway down the street, you will find the stairs that lead you to the Main Gate ( Velja Vrata ) - a meeting point.
If you are coming by taxi, the taxi can take you directly to the Main Gate ( Velja Vrata ) - the meeting point. In that case, don't be surprised when you pass the street next to the parking place.

Wear comfortable footwear, and during the summer, bring a bottle of water.
