Overview of the tour in Axum

Embark on a captivating exploration of the ancient and historic city of Axum/Aksum with our experienced team. Your journey will lead you to marvel at the colossal obelisks of Axum, delve into ancient tombs, peruse the artifacts in the Archaeological Museum, decipher the Ezana Inscriptions, and visit the notable resting places of King Kaleb and his Son, along with the Queen of Sheba's palace.

On the second day, following a delightful breakfast, venture towards Adwa to witness the actual battlefields amidst stunning landscapes and discover the ancient temple of Yeha, constructed in the 8th century B.C. during the pre-Axumite period by the Sabaeans.

In the afternoon, continue your exploration to behold the renowned Orthodox Christian church, Our Lady Mary, boasting a history spanning different eras, and pay a visit to the sacred dwelling place of the Ark of the Covenant.

We will pick you up from your hotel or Axum airport then we will continue our visit. After we visit some sites we will be back to the town for lunch then ahead in the afternoon to see the rest sites.
