Overview of the tour in Athens

Join us as we journey to the historic village where the Marathon Run began and explore the legendary coast where the ancient Battle of Marathon unfolded. Witness the battlefield, the Tomb (Tumulus) of Marathon, the Marathon Run Museum, and a mysterious medieval tower. We will also visit the most important modernist public work of the 1920s, which is a Damn.

We will cool off with a refreshing swim. Later we will visit one of the most important orthodox pilgrims, the Byzantine monastery of Saint Efraim. Please note that you must rinse your hair from the salt of the sea. Women can also wear a scarf on their heads. Women must wear long skirts and men long trousers and shoes, not flip-flops.

You may carry on you cash for snacks and drinks.

On arrival

We will meet at the entrance of Kifissia's train station. I will be wearing a blue dress
