Overview of the tour in Athens

This is an afternoon walk in the old city of Athens!
We will walk in Fillopappos Hill and its pathways, designed by the Architect Dimitris Pikionis, following the movement, the body, and the gaze. We will meet the tiny church of St. Demetrius Loumbardiarius, estimated to date back to the 9th century, and head for Pnyka to enjoy the stunning view of the Athens hills and mountains.

The second part of the tour will take place in the Plaka region, the neighborhood of Gods, where the Ancient, Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman, and Neoclassical eras coexist, creating a unique atmosphere. Lysicrates monument, Anafiotica, Aerides, and Ancient and Roman Agora are only some of the landmarks we will meet, as every building is considered important.

The tour ends at the Acropolis metro station (red line). Are you ready?
