On arrival

Upon arrival, customers will find our meeting point, Safari Junction Lodge, easily accessible from major accommodations in the region. From Arusha, it's approximately a 3-hour drive via the B144 and A104 roads. From Karatu, it's about a 30-minute drive via the B144 road. Our staff will be waiting at the lodge to greet and assist customers, ensuring a smooth start to their Ngorongoro day trip adventure.

Weather Conditions: The weather in the Ngorongoro Crater can vary throughout the day, so we recommend dressing in layers and bringing a waterproof jacket.

Altitude: The crater floor sits at an elevation of around 2,000 meters (6,000 feet), so guests should be prepared for the possibility of altitude-related effects.
