Overview of the tour in Amsterdam
This “Slow Tour” starts at Metro Central Station. We’ll walk in the oldest part of the city, passing through Amsterdam's Chinatown, Nieuwmarkt, and along the oldest canals, where you will admire and learn about Amsterdam’s traditional architecture. We will have a relaxing coffee break on a canal’s café at your own expenses. Then we will continue discovering the origins of the Dutch capital which has transformed it from a small fishing village into a European dominating maritime-trade-city in the16th-17th century. We will end the tour at the Schreierstoren, after crossing the Red District, where we will understand how prostitution and coffee shops are an integrating part of Amsterdam’s old and modern culture. In the 3-hour long “Slow Old Amsterdam free walking tour” you will relax, admire and enjoy the oldest side of one of the most beautiful cities in the world, while exploring at a comfortable pace. The tour can adapt at the group’s needs.

On arrival
Meeting point is outside the Metro Central Station. The identification marks are a yellow umbrella and / or an orange scarf.

A minimum of 6 people over 18 years old is required at the meeting point for the tour to begin.
