Amman: Guided Tour of the City's Mosques
Overview
Learn about the significance of these mosques in Islamic and Jordanian culture. Hear about the history of these mosques and the stories behind them. After the tour, enjoy a cup of sugarcane. Then, you will be dropped off at the downtown area of Amman.

On arrival
The meeting point is the King Hussein Mosque. I will meet you there. We will start our tour at the mosque, then visit the Prophet Museum, followed by the King Abdullah I Mosque and the Grand Husseini Mosque. We will end our tour in the downtown area.
Things to note
To respectfully enter a mosque, dress modestly, cover your arms and legs, and women are usually expected to cover their hair. Remove your shoes and pay attention to signs indicating separate entrances for men and women. Taking photos with a phone is allowed, but cameras are not permitted inside the King Hussein Mosque. Cameras are allowed in the other mosques.
