Walking Tour Around Agra Heritage
Overview of the tour in Agra
The walking tour begins with the Agra fort train station which is a colonial architecture and important because it connects the east and west part of the country here we can learn about the railways in India.
Our next stop will be Jama Masjid one of the largest mosques in the city built in the Mughal era here we can learn about Islam religion. After we will walk towards the different local bazaars like Subhash bazaar (local cloth market), Johri bazaar (Gold market), Kinari bazaar(local market), Kashmiri bazaar(Old red light area), Rawatpara(Spice market), Seth Gali (Sweets market).
While we walking we can see some old houses and buildings with delicate carvings. In the end, we will visit one of the oldest and main temples of the city which is dedicated to the God Shiva here we can learn about the Hindu reli,gion and later we will walk back to the train station where our tour will end.
Note-*This tour needs lots of walking so wear comfortable shoes.
*We will visit some religious site so wear appropriate clothes which covers the knees and shoulders and ladies must bring scarves to cover their heads.
*We need to give some money to the shoe keeper.
