Old Zagreb Walking Tour

Overview of the tour in Zagreb

We will meet at King Tomislav Square in the evening, proceed to Nikola Zrinjski Square, and continue to Ban Jelačić main square. You will find out everything about local history, art, culture, and architecture. We will visit Zagreb Cathedral and old Zagreb Kaptol, a body within the Zagreb Archdiocese.

You will get to know the beautiful open-air market Dolac and Opatovina, from which we will move on to Gradec, an old part of the city of Zagreb on the slope of Medvednica, from which, together with Kaptol, today's Zagreb originated. You will see Kamenita Vrata, a port and one of the best-preserved monuments of old Zagreb.

It is a building shaped like a rectangular tower, from which we will reach the Old Town of Zagreb. Apart from the City Council, Parliament, and Museum of Broken Relationships, you will see an astonishing monuments, churches, and historic buildings on St Marks Square.

Lookout Gradec is the next destination, then continuing via Strossmayer walk to the Zagreb viewpoint beneath ancient Tower Lotršćak, where you can take exclusive photos of Zagreb night.
