On our tour, we review the life of a typical European aristocrat who comes to Wiesbaden for a cure in 1885. We follow him through the fascinating beauty of Wiesbaden's avenues and parks.
In the process, we learn more about the history of Wiesbaden, from the ancient Roman thermal baths to the glorious times of the 19th century, when the city was known as a health resort for the European aristocracy.
Immerse yourself in the splendor of the beautiful architecture, elegant streets and squares of this historic city. We visit the majestic buildings and parks, which are a mixture of magnificent palaces, elegant villas and the magnificent Theater & Kurhaus. But so much beauty also has a dark side.
We want to talk about the other side of the coin that became visible in Wiesbaden during colonization and National Socialism.
