Overview of the tour in Tenerife

We will start our tour in the Plaza del Adelantado, the most important in the city. The house of the Adelantado and the town council houses were located there; and in its surroundings, those of the most notable people. Here we will contemplate the City Hall building, the old Cabildo of the island of Tenerife, the Santa Catalina Convent, the Nava y Grimón Palace, the old San Miguel Hermitage or the Anchieta house.

As a curiosity, I will tell you that San Cristóbal de La Laguna was taken as a model for the construction of some American cities such as Havana, Lima, or Cartagena de Indias.

Therefore, in accordance with state and regional regulations, from Arkeo Tour® we have implemented 6 essential and mandatory measures in all our activities:

1) Our guided tours are carried out only with small groups (maximum 20 people including the guide). In this way we achieve a better organization and management of the group and a separation of at least 2 meters between each person.

2) Our itineraries have been designed to avoid possible crowds and escape from confined spaces. In addition, they are one-way routes to avoid crossing with other groups. Our guides coordinate live to share information on less crowded itineraries.

3) All our guides have been trained in health risk prevention and the fight against coronavirus. The person in charge of the guides and the person in charge of customer service make up the Arkeo Tour® risk management committee and carry out a daily monitoring of the safety measures.

4) In all our guided tours we use voice transmission and amplification equipment. In this way we guarantee the highest quality in the guide's explanations and we can maintain a safe distance between group members.

5) Our team uses approved masks in all our activities and is carried out in daily control of the temperature of each of the guides. Likewise, we will have hydroalcoholic gel for the use of all our users.

6) We have digitized the entire reservation service, thus avoiding the transfer of documents between people. The reservation confirmation can be downloaded from any mobile phone to show the guide at the beginning of the visit. The sending of brochures and information is now also done completely telematically.
