Overview of the tour in Santiago de Compostela

In this free tour we will show the most important places of the Galician popular architecture, besides the Cathedral. It is a brief tour of the exterior of the historic center in which we will see how the architecture of Santiago is changing from its oldest monuments such as the Palace of Gelmirez built during the early Middle Ages, to the later elements of the baroque exemplified in the Cathedral. Not forgetting the importance of the Renaissance period, palpable in squares and buildings such as the San Xerome school.

The walking tour, as such, can be done in no more than 15 minutes. We propose a brief free tour, with 75 minutes of explanations, so that the visitor knows the history and the fundamental architecture of Santiago. And of course, at the end you will receive a free typical Galician gift.
