Overview of the tour in Paris

Liberty, Equality and Fraternity.

We will begin our tour in the majestic Place Vendôme. Here, among the imposing buildings and the elegance of the shop windows, you will discover the vestiges of the monarchy of Louis XIV and the first rumors of a revolution that would change the course of an entire nation.

You will be transported back to the early years of the Revolution, passing through the Tuileries gardens to arrive at the Place de la Concorde, where the terror inspired by the Guillotine cut short the lives of illustrious figures such as Queen Marie Antoinette.

We will stop at the National Assembly and visit the Basilica of St. Clotilde to reflect on the role of the Church and women in a turbulent era.

We will arrive at the Invalides, the beginning and end of the Revolution. We will analyze the rise of the Napoleonic Empire and how the coming to power of Napoleon Bonaparte marked the end of a revolutionary era.

We will end our tour with a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower from the Alexander III Bridge, a privileged place to reflect on the legacy of this unique event.

Important information you should know before booking the tour (it will only take you 1 minute to read it).

1- We need at least six people to do the tour.
2- If you come with children under 14 years old, it is not necessary to make a reservation for them. A maximum of 1 child (<14 years old) per adult is allowed.
3- Come 10 minutes before the tour start time. Your guide will be happy to chat with you for a while ;)
4- The guide cannot wait more than 5 minutes out of respect for the rest of the group. Once this courtesy time has elapsed and if we do not hear from you, your reserved spot(s) may be given to another person(s) interested in participating in the tour.
5- Our freelance guide pays a commission for each person registered for the tour. Please cancel your reservation if you cannot come at that time (it would be a real shame).
You can cancel your reservation without any problem in the confirmation email you received. If you can't find it, look in the "spam" or "spam" folder.
With this simple action you will be able to make the freelance tour guide enjoy a better salary :)
6- Remember that you are participating in the VOLUNTARY free tour. Neither Paris Step by Step Tours nor the tour guides will be responsible for any physical injury, damage, theft or loss of personal items during the tours.

7- A reservation is considered a "show" (you have come on the tour) if you stay until the end. If for any reason you run out of time or do not feel like appreciating the work of the guide; please cancel your reservation as we indicated in point 5 so that it does not count as a "no show".
8- Leave us a phone number (with your country code) so we can reach you during your stay ONLY (and only) IN CASE OF NEED.

Free Cancellation

You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
