Overview of the tour in Lisbon

My tours are personalised and always different. In principle, once you book the experience, you can specify any preferences (forms and genres of art, types of neighbourhoods), then I will check the city's event for that night, plan an itinerary and come back to you. However, if you don't write back we will meet at the default meeting spot. We will then visit venues that offer music of other arts (visual arts and street art especially; dance, theatre, poetry and performance art may be available too). The average evening will consist of max. 1 hour of walking through interesting, off-the-beaten-track paths and 3 hours of enjoying arts. Lisbon's arts scene is vibrant and there is always something for everyone - and being a musician myself I know not just about concerts but about informal jam sessions as well. Most places are small cultural associations and by visiting them you will support local, emerging artists and venues! I keep the groups small in part to match the size of some of the venues and in part to allow for real connection and exchange to happen: one of my goals is to bridge the gap between travelers, locals and expats for a better understanding.

Things to note

- Please remember: in principle, I will set an itinerary based on your preferences and come back to you with a meeting point Only if I don't hear back from you, the meeting point will be the one on the experience page and the tour will not be personalised based on your preferences.
- Most events are free (in which case it's polite to buy a drink or something), some are donation-based and some cost between 1 and 5 euros; I will make sure the total extra cost does not exceed 7 euros. These are costs I also need to cover for myself and I have no affiliation whatsoever with the venues. Of course, you can specify a "budget" for those extra expenses in the preferences.
- Please remember dinner as such is not part of the tour, but you can grab bites on the way. Don't be starving when you start the tour though!
- You should have some energy left from the day, not just for walking part but also for the music/art part: even though most venues have enough place to sit, sometimes they don't and you'll enjoy the experience more if you're not tired!
