There is something truly magical about the music of Lisbon. Just recently the historical Fado music genre has been elected as a Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, continuing to be an important part of everyday life. On 'Lisbon Fado Tour' you get to discover the truly traditional Fado on a tour that features places where musicians and Fadistas have earned their living for decades and happen to do so still today. A Fadista will lead the tour and sing in alleys, squares, and local taverns which have played an important, instrumental part of Fado's history. By the end of the tour it will have a grand finish where you get to enjoy a caldo verde(traditional Portuguese soup) and a barbecued chouriço(spicy sausage) in one of Alfama's traditional Fado house.

Things to note

A Fado singer will accompany the tour and sing along the route. The walk ends at a Fado house where caldo verde (soup), chouriço assado (sausage), bread and wine are included in the tour price.
