Overview of the tour in Lima

Most city tours in Lima are made to show visitors traditional places such as Miraflores Barranco etc. However, if you like to go and see off the beaten path in your trips you have a good option of exploring my hometown Villa el Salvador (VES) which is located 25 mins away from Miraflores in south Lima.

In our way, you will see the coastline from Miraflores to Chorrillos, The Solar Hill, and The natural reserve Pantano's de Villa then we will be arriving in my hometown: V.E.S

Villa El Salvador was founded in the early 1970s by poor immigrants from the Andes who escaped poverty and terrorism.
In those times my hometown was quite a desert literally speaking but people organized themselves to build roads schools, markets, etc
Nowadays V.E.S. is a model of organization and development in the world.

In VES you will be visiting the Industrial Park of Furniture. the first train station The local Market and The Central Park of VES which has an artificial lagoon. As well you will learn about common people's real life and how possible is to overcome poverty.
