Things to note

Things you should bring with you or you can buy them on the way, as it is summertime, so water is a must, sunglasses, sun protector, city map if possible, scarfs or any other staff that you can use to cover shoulders and knees when inside the holy places,
Do not bring what might be considered dangerous like knives or anything sharp, as visiting some places like the Wailing Wall is of very high security standards,
Remember that you are in another country with sometimes different traditions and cultures, for example, it might be ok to take pictures for whoever is in the street where you live, but in Jerusalem and Israel and Palestine you can not, you can be with your wife or husband or girl or boyfriend and kiss each other in the street or any public place, In this country( Israel and Palestine) yes it is possible with no problems in certain places and some other cities or places it is at least not recommended or even do not do it, as might be provocating, the same thing when it concern clothing, etc, so ask your guide about all what you may like to know more.
No need to bring all your money when going to some places like the old city of Jerusalem, it is not dangerous as there is no %100 safe place in this world I always recommend you keep watch over your belongings.
