Overview of the tour in Florence

Florence is famous for its artworks, which you can find everywhere in the city - outside in its streets and inside in its churches and museums. Artists such as Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Da Vinci lived and worked here and influenced the city with their art. All this happened about 500 years ago. But what's going on nowadays in the city? Are there no artists anymore?

In this tour, you'll discover Florence from a different perspective, and you'll learn a lot about its contemporary artists, especially the street artists of Florence.

The "other side" of the river, called "Oltrarno," is especially full of amazing squares, artisan shops, artist workshops, bars, and cafes. So you can find locals hanging out there, enjoying their coffee in Santo Spirito, and eating paninos (sandwiches). At the end of the tour, we'll pass by some artist workshops. If we are lucky, we can see them working on their next project.

You will see on this tour different spots in the area " Oltrarno." We will walk through small streets full of artistic surprises, and we'll end our tour in San Niccolo, where you can find workshops of some of the Street Artists.

We will meet in front of the church, Santa Maria del Carmine. I'll have a stick and a yellow cloth.
